IF Directors Meeting
An annual meeting dedicated to IF Executives of International Federations based in the Canton de Vaud. This meeting provides IF Executives with the opportunity of discussing on “hot” topics and take decisions that impact the future of the international world of sport.
Social activities (ski weekends, social and cultural activities) dedicated to IFs presidents, general secretaries and head of departments. The objectives of these activities are to offer the opportunity to visit the region and network among themselves. These are organised once a year and are open to spouses.
A series of eight seminars directed at the different departments/activities within an International Federation (i.e. development, communication, member services, IT, etc.). The seminars are open to staff from International Federations based in the Canton de Vaud. They take place at the MSI from 9-12 and are followed by a light lunch.

Welcome Home Briefings
The briefing is a free event offered to all new staff members who have recently joined an International Federation in the Olympic Capital region. The event invite is also extended to the partners or spouses of these newly arrived staff.
Those in attendance will learn more about their new home, how the international sports community based here operates as well as some of the logistics required for new arrivals (insurance, legal requirements, etc.). They will also have the opportunity to learn about Swiss culture, including tasting local cuisine while getting to know some of their fellow new arrivals.
To give the staff of IFs a chance to network and share experiences in a friendly setting, various social activities are organised across the year. These include: the MSI BBQ, Exhibitions, Pizza parties, etc.
