The UCI World Cycling Centre (WCC), home to the headquarters of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), is a world-class sports and events facility located in Aigle and inaugurated in 2002.

Designed as a multi-sport training and performance centre, the WCC welcomes athletes from a wide range of disciplines. It is notably home to one of Swiss Athletics’ three National Performance Centres, while the Swiss Gymnastics Federation operates its national and regional trampoline centre on site.

In addition to its high-level sports facilities, the centre offers a range of event spaces, including bright conference rooms, a versatile 1,800 m² multifunctional hall and a restaurant. Conveniently located near the motorway, the WCC provides an ideal setting for conferences, conventions, team-building activities and corporate events.

While dedicated to sporting excellence, the centre also opens its facilities to the public, offering unique experiences and introductions to disciplines such as track cycling and BMX on its world-class infrastructure.

Training centre

Each year, the WCC welcomes athletes from across the globe who dedicate themselves fully to their sporting careers. The centre supports and develops approximately 100 athletes annually in three Olympic disciplines: road cycling, track cycling, and BMX.

Multi-sport training centre

The WCC offers top-tier sports and non-sports facilities, providing everything needed to ensure successful training camps. The Centre frequently hosts programmes organised by national federations and features versatile multi-sport infrastructure suitable for a wide range of disciplines. Athletes from Swiss Athletics and gymnasts from the Swiss Gymnastics Federation (FSG) train here on a near-daily basis. Swiss Athletics has established one of its three national performance centres at the WCC, while the FSG operates both its national and regional trampoline centres on-site.

Facilities open to the general public

While the WCC is dedicated to high-performance training, it also strives to make its facilities accessible to local athletes and the wider public. Introductory sessions in track cycling and BMX Racing are open to everyone, offering a chance to discover these exciting disciplines. Additionally, a BMX freestyle park and a pump track are available for public use.

Organisation of Sport events

International and national cycling events can be organised with the financial support of the Commune of Aigle and the Canton of Vaud.

The WCC warmly welcomes groups and companies for events including conferences, seminars, and outings. Featuring bright conference rooms, 1,800 m² of versatile space, and an on-site restaurant, the WCC is fully equipped to host your event.
